Child Safety Standards

These Child Safety Standards are published by Gistoneer Limited for the Gistoneer app (Android package com.gistoneer.app), the Gistoneer website, and related services (together, “Gistoneer”).

1. Purpose

Gistoneer is committed to protecting children. These standards explain what is prohibited on Gistoneer, how to report a child safety concern, and what we do when we receive a report.

2. Scope

These standards apply to every user, profile, post, photo, video, comment, sound, live stream, listing, and any other content or interaction on Gistoneer.

3. Zero-Tolerance Policy on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Gistoneer has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a child is prohibited. When we find it, we remove it and take action against the account responsible.

4. Prohibited Content

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, video, audio, drawings, and AI-generated or edited imagery that depicts minors in a sexual way.
• Sexualized depictions of children, including content that focuses sexually on a minor's body.
• Sharing, requesting, or soliciting sexual images or videos of anyone under 18.
• Content that promotes, glorifies, or normalizes child sexual abuse or exploitation.
• Child trafficking, or any content that advertises or facilitates the exploitation of minors.

5. Prohibited Behavior

• Child grooming: building a personal or emotional relationship with a minor in order to prepare them for sexual exploitation.
• Sexual solicitation of minors, or sexual communication with a minor.
• Sextortion involving a minor: threatening or coercing a minor with sexual images or information.
• Sexual exploitation of minors in any form.
• Attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes, including through comments, messages, live streams, or profiles.
• Facilitating child exploitation, or helping others evade child safety protections.

6. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

CSAM is never permitted on Gistoneer. If you come across suspected CSAM, do not download, screenshot, forward, or share it. Report it using the in-app report option or by email (see Section 7). Accounts that share CSAM may be removed from Gistoneer.

7. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

You can report a child safety concern in two ways:

• In the app: on any profile, post, photo, video, comment, sound, live stream, or listing, open the report option, choose Child safety concern, and select the type of concern.
• By email: send the details to aliyu@gistoneer.com with the subject line “Child Safety Report”. Include a link to the account or content if you can. Do not attach suspected CSAM.

8. In-App Reporting

Child safety reports are stored with critical priority and are reviewed by authorized Gistoneer staff. Staff with report-review access are alerted when a child safety report is submitted. The alert does not include any details of the report.

9. Enforcement

A report is treated as an allegation until it has been reviewed. Enforcement is based on that review. Actions available to Gistoneer staff include dismissing a report when no violation is found, removing or hiding content, and suspending accounts. Every enforcement action is recorded in an internal audit log.

10. Account Suspension and Removal

Accounts that violate these standards may be suspended. Suspended users are notified in the app. Serious violations, including sharing CSAM or sexual exploitation of minors, may result in permanent removal of the account.

11. Content Removal

Content that violates these standards is removed. Gistoneer may remove content immediately when there is clear evidence of a violation.

12. Escalation

Child safety reports are stored with critical priority and are reviewed by authorized Gistoneer staff.

13. Cooperation with Authorities

Gistoneer reports suspected child sexual abuse and exploitation to the relevant authorities where required by law, and responds to lawful requests from authorities.

15. Legal Compliance

These standards operate alongside the laws that apply to Gistoneer and its users. Nothing in these standards limits our obligations under applicable law.

16. Policy Updates

We may update these standards. The effective date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the app.
